This MCEA achievement award is given to honor Dr. Frederick L. Hipp’s dedication and commitment to the Association, the education profession, and the people it serves. The award shall be in the form of recognition on a permanent plaque in the county office and an individual plaque given to the recipient of the award.
To be a candidate for the award, the individual should: a. Be an active professional member or an active support professional member for five (5) years. b. Be an MCEA member who has been an outstanding contributor to the cause of the educational profession.
Nomination for the award may be made by the governing body of a local association, by an individual, or the committee. The closing date for nominations shall be March 15, 2012.
Persons serving as MCEA officers shall not be eligible for this award during their term of office.
